The Phoenix Players are a well established amateur dramatics group based in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire who have been running since 1945. We have performed many plays, pantomimes and musical shows over the years from whodunits through to farces, comedies and classic drama, from well known scripts to those written by our own members.

“A Tomb with a View,” a play by Norman Robbins, is a homicidal comedy thriller, or perhaps better described as a spoof thriller, set in a sinister old library where a lawyer reads a will to a bizarre family, leading to a series of twists and turns with a surprising conclusion.

We love to welcome new members to our team, both on the stage and also behind the scenes. The jobs of director, stage manager, lighting, sound, backstage, props, costumes and front of house are all as important to a show as the actors up on the stage.
